Essential Responsibilities
1. Designing at least one of the following electrical components and interconnects: digital, FPGA, Analog, low-level RF
2. Engaging in all phases of new product introduction, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
3. Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the MR Product line
4. Ensuring reliability, performance and delivery through supplier relationships

Quality Specific Goals:

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
5. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Role Summary/Purpose
An Electrical Engineer learns the practical application of engineering principals, achieves expertise in Electrical Engineering, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing electrical product/subsystem release solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements
1. MS or PhD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
2. Minimum 1 year experience on electronics R&D in healthcare, automation, instrumentation, or telecommunication industry
3. Demonstrated technical depth in digital design and mixed signal design
4. Good capability on electrical design tools and simulation tools Cadence, Matlab, ADS, Quartus, ModelSim, etc
5. Working experience with PWA/PWB and subsystem design techniques for signal integrity and EMC circuit design and simulation tool experience
6. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
7. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
8. Strong sense of ownership
9. Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and global project experience
