Essential Responsibilities
Duties include (but are not limited to):
1. Designing new products and/or supporting Installed Base of mechanical components or subsystems.
2. Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability.
3. Works within a team to deliver technical solutions.
4. Works with technical leadership to ensure that the technical deliverables are consistent with the goals of larger programs, projects or initiatives.
5. Act as activity leader of department activities within a project. (Time-plan, resource need, status reports, monitor costs, resource usage, technology requirements and solutions etc)
6. Investigating and leading the solution for mechanical issue on released components and subsystems.
7. Executes design to engineering standards.
8. Engaging in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
9. Leading design visualization efforts with 3D CAD (Creo) models and essential component and assembly details to explore multiple design options.
10. Defining and executing component design verification.
11. Verifying product sub-system reliability performance.
12. Conducting analysis of installed base and new product reliability using FMEA, Weibull Analysis and DFR tools.
13. Ensure reliability, performance and delivery through supplier relationships.
14. Maintain and develop competence required for the job.

Basic Qualifications:
1. BS or above in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 5 years relative working experiences in Mechanical design areas.
3. Knowledge in structural engineering, and verification of mechanical structures, mechanisms.
4. Understanding in theories, concepts and techniques in structural analysis
5. Experience with Weibull Analysis and DFR tools

Role Summary/Purpose
This position provides mechanical engineering design leadership for modality components and subsystems. Activities include detailed mechanical and structural, design of sub-systems and components and engaging in all phase of design development. This position also need lead investigation and deliver solution for mechanical issue on released components and subsystems.

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
