Job Tasks 

1. Sales 

Realize sales target of denim in South China 

Be sensitive in perception and swift in action about business opportunities in responsible Sales area

Be familiar with competition products and relevant competing strategy

Develop new customers and new product sales to increase denim sales under identified business strategy in responsible area, fully utilizing available resources and leverage partnerships internal and in the whole denim value chain. 

Maintain a good relationship with existing customers (both direct and indirect), get thorough understanding of customers’painpoints, KPI, and explore Indigo customer value, to expand Wallet Share at old customers. 

Manage assigned key accounts and dealers.

Cultivate relationship with customers (existing and new).

Strengthen sales channel by dealer management and development. 

Answer inquiries and preparing quotation & contracts   

Monitor general records on customers’ individual profile, visiting reports, quotation, sales records, and ensure the records are up-to-date

Coordinate internal resources to ensure sufficient and high level customer service quality, build-up WOM for Dystar denim. 

2. Marketing 

Provide reporting manager with inputs on market Intelligence, contributing to business strategy and BD tactics. 

Identify both market and product development opportunities and provide feedback to reporting manager

Implement agreed products strategies and work closely with Head of BM for the growth of targeted business in South of China.

3. Technical 

Carry out bulk trials of denim vat solution at customers' dye houses with the support from Technical colleagues. 

Provide daily technical support to customers. 

Ensure problem free running of products at the customers’ sites with the support from Technical colleagues. 

Identify customer’s technical needs and provide feedback to reporting manager for allocation of technical support.

4. Asset Management

Recommend credit limit / payment terms on new customers.

Responsible for customer outstanding AR

Investigate and facilitate commercial claims/ customer complaints 

5. Others

Fully aware of the company’s Quality Management System and perform duties diligently in accordance with the laid down policies/ procedures     

Requirement

Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry or Dying and finishing engineering or equivalent 

Minimum 5 years relevant business experience in the textile chemical sales field, 3 years technical experience in dying house/Lab. At least 3 years working experience in multi-national company. With working experience in denim industry a plus.

Good interpersonal communications, negotiation and problem solving skills 

Strong sales and marketing skill, customer value oriented.

Ability to identify causes and effect 

Good computer skills 

Proficient in English and Mandarin both on oral and writing, and proficient in Cantonese on oral

A flexible approach, diplomatic, pro-active, team work spirit, highly responsible and self-motivated

Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment, ability to make decision, ability to work under pressure
