Essential Responsibilities
They will have responsibility of acting as a medical expert for one or more of the company’s key products and will have established their reputation outside of their region by close and effective cross functional collaboration. They will be recognized as a key partner to their commercial partners and seen as adding value to the business.

• Preparation and delivery of training on new industry campaigns and clinical evidence
• Involvement in the assessment and monitoring of investigator initiated trials and or GE sponsored post market trials
• Managing of PV/Post Market Surveillance to ensure that the management system is compliant with applicable regulations, standards and/or regional requirements.
• To be the medical expert for one or more of the company’s key products working closely with the marketing team and will represent the product at investigator initiated trial committee meetings.
• Will be the preferred scientific partner for both internal and external customers and will be the key driver of scientific training.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and run effective Medical Advisory Boards in full compliance with regulations
• Will assist in the preparation and delivery of training materials to support new staff as well as continuing the training and support of the existing staff on new products and initiatives through scientific data exchange. Present and key clinical evidence to both internal and external customers at individual, national and regional levels.
• Provide an additional and important contact point for relationships with Key Opinion Leaders especially in Radiology and Cardiology.
• Dissemination of clinical paper summaries and disease area information, coordinated with global medical information team.
• Responsibility for the preparation and/or review of scientific product presentations to be used in customer meetings Provide medical input to the creation of key promotional material for new or existing products and will review and provide medical content review for all advertising and promotional material.
• Provide medical leadership across functions and therapeutic areas to ensure that customers have the right scientific information to maximize quality patient care in the utilization of our products.
• The jobholder will provide input to clinical development programs for the region as a medical and clinical expert.
• The jobholder will be the key contact with regards medical information enquiries and drug safety issues including adverse events. They will provide comprehensive medical information comprising images, scientific review of publications, abstracts to internal and external customers in the Region. They will support the local and central Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs teams

Role Summary/Purpose

To be a key contact with regards to medical support of both internal and external customers and the handling of medical information enquiries and drug safety issues. To ensure promotional materials are approved accordingly.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. The candidate must be a qualified and registered Medical Doctor.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Affairs role in the international pharmaceutical company.
3. Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to a range of internal and external customers
4. Fluent in English (both written and oral).
5. Demonstrated management skills within the pharmaceutical industry
6. Willing to travel within China in general 30-40% of work time.Occasional travel outside China may be required for training or for project work
7. Self-motivated and confident team player with attention to detail.
8. Demonstrated highest levels of professional and cultural integrity
9. Energy and sense of urgency to start and complete projects
10. Open honest and transparent communications style
11. Demonstrated ability to work in or lead project/ project teams

Desired Characteristics

1. Project Management skills is an advantage
2. Experience in any of Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, cardiology or Neurology would be an advantage.
3. Good commercial acumen and experience in a commercial environment.
