DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

80% Payroll Processing

- Perform system set ups and work closely with the payroll provider (ADP) to ensure timely and accurate system set ups.

- Update and alignment of all personnel master data in various database/platforms (namely Workday, Workforce, Streamline, etc).

- Prepare payroll report package for manager review and approval for each payroll cycle.

- Provide adequate support for all payroll journal entries.

- Coordinate with AP to ensure sufficient cash is available for all payroll runs.

- Coordinate the payroll payment and accounting booking with the Accounts Payable and GL Accounting departments.

- Support SOX compliance efforts.

20% Additional Responsibilities

- Resolve employee payroll issues.

- Work with ADP and IT to resolve systems issues.

- Assist with internal and external audit requests related to payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS

- College or University degree preferred.

- Payroll certifications preferred.

- 3-5 years payroll handling experience.

- Experience with in-house and/or outsourced payroll operations.

- Experience with a multi-national (preferably a US public traded company) with complex global organizations, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities.

- Experience with large payroll software package experience (ADP strongly preferred)

- Knowledge of expat and executive compensation.

- Knowledge of technical aspects of payroll administration especially as it relates to compliance.

- Attention to detail.

- Maturity to handle highly confidential personal information.

- High degree of integrity with the ability to handle matters in the appropriate manner.

- Ability to learn new software systems quickly (ADP, etc.).

- Drive for excellence and motivated self-starter.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
