Job Overview
? Assess the quality and potential of new sites to help identify the best opportunities to acquire sites and open new stores.
? Work with local team to build up new store sales forecasts and review existing store performance
? Provide on the ground insight to help meet the 3-year plan and deliver the right format of stores in the right location.
? Establish and deliver a sales forecast model for new stores.
? Identify clear strategy locations for new stores in target cities
? Evaluate current and future strengths and weaknesses of potential sites
? Deliver high quality, data based and objective site research input
? Provide accurate sales forecasts and information to facilitate confident investment decisions
? Provide insightful information that reflects up to date competitor activity
? Achieve sales forecast accuracy within + or - 10% of forecast
? Provide post opening reviews and recommendations to improve sales
Main Responsibilities:
? Provide sales analysis and assess the strengths and weaknesses of potential sites to help deliver the right format of store to be built in the right location to meet customer needs
? Check that market research and exit surveys are carried out in a way which considers and measures sensitively considering customer needs.
? Complete new site assessments and identify strengths and weaknesses to enable investment decisions to be made
? Propose accurate sales forecasts to the Head of Business Development
? Maximise potential for new sites by recommending customer offers such as store size
? Use local research to identify trends in data and recommend action
? Contribute to pre and post opening reports to maximize sales and profits
? Identify the demographic nature of the locality so we can tailor our store offer to meet the needs of the community
? Site and market research techniques
? Ability to manage and analyse information to make it suitable for key new store model inputs
? Ability to work remotely out of the office and to network with external contacts
? The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines maintaining attention to detail
Main Requirements:
? 3 + years relevant experience in retail (preferably international clothing retailer)
? University degree
? Good familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and spoken English
