Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

v Accountable for the local IT service delivery for liaison office in Shanghai, Philippines and Japan.

v Ensures stable IT operations for liaison office and operation centers under the framework of Global IT policies

v Gathers and analyses business requirements for IT infrastructure and applications implementation

v Provides business users with IT advice, guidance, design and implementation consultancy

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operations

¨ Perform and monitor hardware and software installation in line with Global IT directions

¨ Maintains stable daily operation of IT infrastructure

¨ Ensures a virus free environment

¨ Ensures data and system security in line with Global IT directions

¨ Defines local system policies and procedures in line with Global IT directions

¨ Ensures compliance with standards set in group/region policies (software licenses, anti-virus program availability, correct configurations, IT equipment list…)

Application Services

¨ Provide support to liaison office and factory users for the adidas applications

¨ Act as the backup for other liaison office globally as needed

Business and User Support

¨ Provide deskside IT support to end-users

¨ Defines IT requirements and sources solutions based on business requirements

¨ Organizes regular user training on various adidas applications and software packages

IT Management

¨ Performs local IT planning based on business plans/requirements and Global IT initiatives

¨ Evaluates and proposes new hardware/software as needed

¨ Assists in preparing IT budget

¨ Ensures all hardware is covered by proper maintenance agreements

Team/Project Management

¨ Coordinates and supervises local IT activities

¨ Supervises junior IT team member to provide IT support and services to users

Experience and Qualifications:

¨ University Degree in Computer Studies or related discipline

¨ Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT support experience on infrastructure and in-house applications, with highly developed customer-focused skills

¨ Minimum 1 year of work experience in working with Global teams at different time zones with good cultural awareness

¨ Knowledge of MS Office and experience in writing MS-Excel macro

¨ Experience in web application development with technologies such as IIS/Ajax/MS-SQL, IIS/Ajax/mdb, PHP/ASP/MS-SQL, etc. preferred

¨ Able to communicate complex technical IT issues to English-speaking senior management or users in laymen’s terms

¨ Good command of both oral and written English

¨ Good knowledge and concept on IT service management and project management

¨ Experience in Supply Chain or Sourcing business process is advantage
