职位描述
Responsibility:
- Help/participate with TLM(Trade Lane Management) actively in Carrier Rate Negotiations, securing support from carriers locally and to keep good relationship with them.
- Assist TLM to liaise with overseas / local agents.
- Liaises with customers in the areas of complaints, enquiries and placing of orders and takes follow-up action. Solve the problems from the customers and operation team.
- Prepares Credit agreements for customers and related follow up with Finance P/R teams on payments from Customers.
- Solicits business from clients. Searches and prepares sales lead for new business in close coordination with TLM.
- Sales Assistance- Handles sales enquiries. Prepares/sends quotations.
- Follows up as a bridge between local C& N China offices on sales leads from overseas offices and agents.
- Sales support to TLM , Dispatching the individual sales budget to incentive entitled sales, review and monitor the performance in monthly basis.
- Participates in sales calls to larger accounts and joint sales calls.
- Reports monthly sales activities via report, market information and competitors' marketing activities.
- Assists in preparing business presentations.
- Co-ordinates third country shipments under the supervision of TLM.
- Maintains and updates customer records.
- Performs other duties assigned by the TLM.
Requirement:
Education-
College or above.
Experience-
4-6 years relevant experience with at least one to two years in supervisory level.
Language-
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. If any other additional languages it will be preferable.
Principal Job Skills Required and Attributes-
- Good cross functional communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ambitious, self-motivated and hard working. Willing to put in extra hours as and when required.
- Working knowledge of freight forwarding practice.
- Capability to handle day-to-day duties with desired cross functional role.
- Driven to help TLM generate new business and maintain existing customer base.
- Ability to work in compliance with Company goals/procedures.
- Inquisitive mind and lateral vision.
- Computer savvy and well versed with MS Office, Power point.
