Scope of Role:

• The job holder is responsible for payroll operations and statutory liability related issue in China.
• Provide the data input to payroll and also ensure the output from payroll is accurate and reconciled.
• Support Senior Operation manager on the process improvements.

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing and remittance of staff payroll, statutory liabilities (social insurance, housing fund and individual income tax, etc)
• Ensure total customer satisfaction by providing quality services, which is error free, submitted in timely manner and communicated efficiently.
• Work with outsourced vendors in both domestic and overseas, including the timely performance review, service quality insurance and communication.
• Work with payroll vendors and HRSSC on Payroll related MIS
• Responsible for the payroll setup in new branch opening, prepare the necessary documents.
• Ensure all the data input for payroll are dual control and in timely way.
• Conduct the payroll reconciliation and ensure the records in SASRA are accurate and completed.
• Responsible of contract staff’s payroll and Intern’s payment
• Support Senior operation manager on Payroll process improvement and support process migrations to HRSSC/Vendors
• Cope with the internal auditor and external regulators on payroll/tax related auditing or inspection.
• Continuous improvement in productivity to the standards prescribed from time to time.
• Upholding the values of the Group and company at all times.
• Compliance with all applicable rules, regulations as well as company and group policies
• Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures.

• Report all suspicious transactions to the line manager.

Selection Criteria:

• Graduate or alternative similar level of qualification
• At least 5 years experience in the payroll operations of Human Resources
• Familiar with payroll operation and the statutory liabilities
• Proficiency in English is a must
• Has the keen number sense, also details oriented, and with good team work style
• Good analytical and problem solving skills with orientation for technology solutions
• Good interpersonal, and communication skills to engage different stakeholders
