This position is in HP's Notebook supply chain product engineering organization. The ODM program manager is part of a team of talented hardware and software engineering program managers. As the focal point for supply chain quality, the individual needs to lead activities across functional/regional boundaries - ODMs, R&D, SC, TCE, Regions. Responsible for resolving and communicating on all supply chain factory/field quality issues as well as driving prevention actions for future products.

Responsibilities

-Leads internal/external cross functional Issue Resolution Teams to drive containment, root cause, corrective action, prevention.

-Define and lead projects to drive systemic process improvements to reduce issue TAT

-Publishes clear, concise, and thorough executive issue summaries.

-Establishing & managing ODM failure analysis and engineering capabilities

-Manage factory SW readiness/issues

-Establishing and maintaining key cross-functional internal and external relationships

Qualifications

Education and Experience

-BS degree in an EE/ME

-5+ years of industry experience

-5+ years of project management and team management experience

Knowledge and Skills

-Experience with management of contract manufacturers and suppliers

-Solid experience with manufacturing process, factory test and design validation

-Great leadership skills and ability to inspire team members

-Ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities

-Excellent communication - Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience

-Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

-Teamwork: the candidate must be able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment
