Job Responsibilities:
New Product Development support:
-Build prioritized list of requirements for New products being developed, using learning from current product issues and customer feedback with a goal to further improve overall product experience for customers and reduce need for customer to ask for after-sales support
- Work with New product program team to set aggressive goals for quality and customer experience improvements;
- Identify specific opportunities to achieve these goals and provide any supporting data, samples, customer visit reports to justify and priorities the opportunities;
- Strong engagement with R&D to push quality improvement and Total Customer Experience improvement, review and assist decision making on Fix/No-Fix list based on customer impact, and actively involved in any late design changes or classic issues to control the warranty risk;
- Actively review Test plans and their results to be conducted during product development to ensure no major customer risk release into the field;
-Warranty Estimation and SPAR projection
- Lead warranty estimation and project warranty numbers by analyzing top field quality issue, customer satisfaction, new features, and design changes etc
- Actively engage in warranty SPAR and ASPIRE processes, assist warranty manager to finish yearly business planning, and align with each region on specific warranty goals
- Drive continuous warranty reduction efforts to meet or beat warranty goal on specific product
-Prepare and deliver New Product training to support teams in the region in timely and effective manner to fully prepare the support teams to support the product after launch
- Transition product and issues knowledge, where applicable, to Current product support teams well before product launch;
- Ensure overall support readiness before launch and follow-up and close any outstanding issues;

Qualifications
Experience:
-Experience in managing overall warranty and/or support and services business at WW or region level
-Experience working with R&D and drive quality improvement
-Desirable to have experience and knowledge of Emerging markets SMB customer segment support and product & support preferences for this customer segment
-Desirable to have above experience with Information Technology or Consumer electronics companies and with Digital Printing & Imaging products
Skills, Capabilities:
-Adequate technical competency and sound diagnosis/analytical skills to characterize the issue for engineering teams. Regular follow-up and close-the-loop with regions support partners and engineering labs in timely manner.
-Capability of performing accurate data analysis. Ability to use Customer and product support knowledge and data to recommend and justify future product improvement requirements
-Good command of English (both verbal and written). Good listening and comprehension skills. Be able to review and write documents independently. English is mandatory, however expertise in Mandarin or any other language as added advantage
-Ability to work and perform in virtual teams
-Good presentation skills
-Demonstrate teamwork spirit
-Self-starter, take-risk (can-do) attitude and leadership skills
