Job Description

This position will be half year working in Singapore to work with and train a Singapore team, and then return to China.

The work includes:

- Research and development of innovative computer vision concepts for application in automotive

- Advanced system engineering and algorithm design for applications such as SLAM, 3D reconstruction, object recognition, localization

- Cooperation with Bosch business unit in Singapore, China, and worldwide for requirement analysis, technology transfer, and to evaluate market attractiveness of new concepts

- Scouting, identification, and tracking of new trends and emerging technologies, derive impacts on Bosch research strategy and identify key partners

- Establish internal/external collaborations in the area of Autonomous Driving systems

- Passion for innovation, problem solving and Entrepreneurial mindset

Qualifications

- Excellent master degree, ideally PhD, in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or related

- Strong knowledge in visual tracking, 3D reconstruction, SLAM, ROS. Familiarity with open source vesion libraries & Gazibo preferred

- Proficiency and practical experiences in programming, e.g. C, C++, Matlab, Python, and developing in Linux

- Experience in Simulation, software verification and validation preferred

- Generate new ideas & able to prototype and test

- Strong communication and predentation skills and ability to develop network with internal/external partners

- Team player and ability to work in multi-cultural environment and global simultaneous engineering teams
