Job Description

1. Purchasing responsibility in AP (China, Japan, Korea, Intra-Asia) for different Service Modes:
2. all Warehouse contracts and projects
3. Fuel surcharges, other fees/value added services for warehouse services
4. Lead of tender activities and negotiations
5. Contract management: Responsibility for all regional contracts, identification of bundling potentials, SRM upload
6. Development of regional sub-material field strategy and global standards for warehouse
7. Demand management; monitoring of markets and suppliers
8. Support and cooperation in tender activities within purchasing alliances with other companies
9. Bundling and optimization activities for all warehouse contracts
10. Development of supplier strategies, take over supplier mentor-ships including supplier development methods and generate supplier pyramids
11. Relationship management towards internal business partner
12. Ensure accuracy for the data reporting (ICR) and project reporting (action plan) in resp. countries

Qualifications

1. Professional competencies
2. IBT specialized knowledge (e. g. Logistics processes (warehouse), BPS principles)
3. Practicing purchasing basic principles including quality management
4. Negotiation skills (also in difficult situations) incl. advanced negotiations methods
5. Experience with purchasing methods and IT tools for Indirect Purchasing
6. Cost analysis within Indirect Purchasing
7. Knowledge about PUI-Controlling including BP, Policy Deployment and Reporting
8. Supply Chain Optimization (material field strategy, purchasing processes, supplier development).
9. Contract law and legal requirements, compliance
10. Project management and moderation skills
11. Personal requirements
12. Academic degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent education
13. Fluent in English, level to perform negotiations
14. Good practical experience in MS Office and SAP
15. Willingness to travel
16. Assertiveness
17. High communication skill and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
18. Intercultural competence
19. Functional responsibility for the Commodity Buyers
