Job Description

- Conduct research and pre-development in Fuel Cell Systems for NEV
- Work closely with the central Corporate Research hub in Renningen, Germany and the research center in Japan on project activities and competence development
-？Work closely with business units to supply cutting edge and competitive technology solutions and to transform them to products
-？Execute technology scouting in China/Asia covering both academia and industry in China/Asia for preparing strategic decisions
-？Main responsibility includes
o Pursue technology excellence by contributing brilliant ideas to new product concepts including patent filing
o Prove innovation concept by pre-development including design, simulation, prototyping, test and validation
o Support project activities to transfer deliverables to business units successfully
o Manage suppliers and lab facilities for sample construction

Qualifications

• PhD degree or excellent Master in discipline of Fuel Cell Systems or FCEV
• Expert knowledge and practical experiences in fuel cell system design, simulation, and operation
• Good knowledge concerning the interdependencies of fuel cell system components like stack, compressor, humidifier and the electrical interface towards the electrical powertrain
• ？Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written), speaking German is a plus
• ？Good knowledge with certain level of experience on electric powertrain system and components e.g. inverters, electric motors, DC/DC converters.
• ？International education and experiences is a plus
• ？Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style, experienced in project work
• ？Passionate for innovation; filed patents on qualified content during PhD or prior work is a benefit
• ？Strong team player; open to work in an international environment
