Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

· Lead the TJDC IT team responsible for the support and continuous improvement processes in the Tianjin Distribution Center.

· Be part of the TJDC management team and align IT targets with overall deliverables for the TJDC.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the evaluation of continuous improvements / RFC’s and implement accordingly.

· Manage the relationship with our business partners and guarantee system availability according to the SLA’s.

· Provide application support using best practices according to Service Level agreements. Applications covered are Labor Management, Warehouse Management System, reporting environments and local applications used to improve operations efficiency.

· Manages and delivers the complete service within the defined and agreed budget.

· As part of the TJDC team responsible for delivering the right quality of service according to GOPS set KPI’s for distribution centers.

· Embrace ownership of the applications used in the Distribution Center with the responsibility to keep systems running effectively and efficiently.

· Drive innovation within the TJDC and the TJDC IT team.

Authorities:

· Be part of defining future distribution strategy for TJDC as member of the TJDC management team.

· Convey TJDC requirements to the APAC distribution team to make them part of APAC and potentially global future solutions.

Key Relationships:

· TJDC Management team

· Distribution 2nd level support team in Suzhou

· Global Logistics & Distribution including Engineering and Project Management

· Infosys team in Shanghai

· Global support teams in Germany

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Pro-active and open Communication towards the internal customer departments, external suppliers and within IT

· Knowledge of Manhattan (ideally) or RP, Info, Flux WMS and MHE (Material Handling Equipment) integration is a big plus

· Working knowledge in complex Distribution Center processes

· Social skills – outstanding communication skills

· Demonstrated leadership ability

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree or equivalent working experience preferably in IT or Supply Chain

· Line Management experience

· Good in English

· Experience in working in a matrix in a global environment
