Purpose:  

?         Identification of business improvement areas and facilitation of appropriate working methods to improve supplier and liaison office efficiency

?         Actively manage the evolution of vendors to deliver on supplier improvement targets

?         Deliver an efficient LO costing process through the development and education of defined process and tools.

?         Develop people capabilities, train educate and elevate knowledge level on business work drivers

Key Responsibilities:

?         Support the creation of individual vendor action plan’s to improve efficiency levels enabling successful achievement of milestones and business goals.

?         Build and manage a basic SMV database to ensure accuracy, consistency and fairness across the LO supply base.

?         Promote the introduction of this data as the basis for allocations, planning and costing.

?         Introduce SMV’s as the basis of costing to support the LOP framework tool, effectively converting T1’s where necessary and introduction of an established SOP.

?         Liaise with our supply base and costing teams to ensure we maintain consistency and integrity in approach to generating SMV’s, effectively dealing with enquiries both internal and external.

?         Working with Brand Merchandising Teams, achieve Brand margin targets.

?         Evaluate T1’s production methods and introduce improvement guidelines to enhance output and quality.

?         Work closely with the internal Continuous Improvement Team and Apparel Sourcing Operations team to understand objectives, goals and expectations and apply steps locally to achieve our goals

?         Be a driver of change, seeking new ways to improve the business, its efficiency and company profitability.

    

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

?         Min 3 Years apparel manufacturing experience in a work study or similar role

?         Qualified GSD practitioner

?         6S or Lean background would be an advantage

?         Fluency in English essential

?         Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
