Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
Roles:
?Represent APA Quality in VO Assembly Plant for all QOS related affairs which including GRC, Six Sigma and ISO compliance.
?Be single point of contact for QOS at VO Assembly Plant for APA Quality.
?Co-ordinate APA Quality BPR, Regional Quality and Special Attention Review (SAR) meetings.

Responsibilities:
?Manage the QOS process for VO Assembly Plant.
Train and annually calibrate/certify plant personnel in audit techniques and principles.
?Oversee QOS for VO Assembly Plant.
Ongoing self assessment audits and coaching at Assembly Plants.
Ensure Quarterly QPIP self assessment is accurately conducted.
Ensure consistency in QOS across APA and Globally.
Develop action plans for non compliances and drive team to close out gaps.
Drive continuous improvement in vehicle line quality.
Support procedural updates, and ensure adherence by plant.
Support vehicle line QPM's as required.
Support VOME and PD with QOS requirements in plant.
Represent plant in QOS related regional meetings.
Ensure changes to facility and/or process is fully compliant with QOS requirements.
Work with plant quality teams to make sure they are prepared for APA Quality BPR, Regional Quality and Special Attention Reviews (SAR) meetings.
Host the BPR, Regional Quality and SAR meetings for the APA region.

1. Preferred Previous experiences/ competencies to prepare for the position (Including required qualifications)

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline
Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
Leadership Functional / Technical
Ability to lead and coach all areas of the plant team in QOS.
Experience in customer view-point audit fields (3 years min)
Excellent co-ordination and communication skills in English
Experience in quality systems.
Global perspective, cultural awareness & sensitivity
Manufacturing or engineering experience is a plus

Ability to travel regionally ? Computer system skills (windows, office, web, terminal system)

Experiences/competencies expected to be developed while in position. (List critical experiences only.)

2.Leadership Functional / Technical
Ability to lead and coach cross functional teams and departments in Plant for QOS. ? Subject Matter Expert in all QOS processes
Develop global and regional network and ability to work with variety of cultures ? Product/Manufacturing quality audit expertise


3.Key Deliverables in position i.e. in the next 1-2 years what is required to be delivered in the position?

Ensure VO Assembly plant meets all QOS requirements.
Attain Six Sigma Green Belt status and SME level knowledge of Quality IT systems.

4.Expected minimum time in position (range) (This is the minimum time required to achieve the key deliverables. Note that this is a minimum range, not the maximum time in position.)
