Job Description & Qualifications Key Roles and Responsibilities
This position will assist the EQO Asia Pacific & Africa (APA) office in the following work tasks:
Ensure robust legal compliance and conformance with Ford environmental standards for new and existing manufacturing operations within APA.
Provide regulatory and environmental engineering support during development of new facility EIAs. Ensure EIAs are secured in a timely manner to support program timing requirements.
Monitor and document environmental design requirements related to new or modified infrastructure and manufacturing operations.
Actively participate in routine project team meetings to provide environmental support, monitor facility and process-related field engineering, and promote Ford global environmental standards and the replication of Ford environmental sustainability initiatives.
Active member of project team to ensure regulatory and Company environmental global standards/requirements are appropriately addressed.
Support implementation of VOME 100 Point and PTOME STAR programs
Monitor project work for environmental compliance
Work with EQO global staff, APA and the plant launch teams to develop and integrate an Environmental Operating System (EOS) into the plant's standard operating systems - as these systems are being developed.
Coordinate, with EQO Site Assessment and New Business Support staffs, the completion of environmental site assessments conducted to support property transactions.
Routinely evaluate facility performance on APA Manufacturing Environmental Business Plan metrics, targets and objectives. Develop and implement action plans as necessary to achieve goals.
Education/Work Experience:
· University Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical or Civil) Preferred
· 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Behavioural skills Ford Leadership behaviors (Honesty, Integrity, Perserverance)

MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
