Position Duties:
Act as Project Manager for enterprise solutions within APA AD. This position provides the opportunity to lead regional or local projects deployments in APA region and to learn more about financial management, forecasting, budgeting and project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Follows and ensures appropriate use of Ford Motor Company IT project management tools, processes, and methodologies
Ensures effective integration management throughout the life cycle of the project
Develops and maintains detailed project plans with minimal supervision
Reviews project plans and provides timely feedback and direction
Ensures project deliverables meet stated expectations for scope, quality, cost, timing, and business objectives
Leads discussions that impact or change project scope with minimal supervision
Identifies risk and executes mitigation plans
Identifies issues and executes resolution
Develops periodic reports on a variety of subjects including status, risks and mitigation plans, issues and resolution, and change requests
Motivates, manages and provides leadership for team members
Participates in and leads resource acquisition process
Provides input and makes decisions regarding training requirements
Preferred Skills:
More than four years of progressive responsibilities in IT and at least one year in project management
Strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills; team-oriented.
Maturity in dealing with all levels of business and IT
Strong written and oral skills - able to clearly convey complex blends of business and technical matters to a range of audiences.
Effective time management and prioritization skills. Ability to construct quality work plans and deliverables from minimal definitions and to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
Creative in quickly developing approaches to problems and recommending actions to management. Includes implementation of suggested recommendations.
Willingness to do whatever it takes to complete assignments on time and with quality.
Self-starter and highly motivated; Uses sound business judgment and exhibits leadership qualities.
Education / Certification:
?Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
?PMI certification is desirable
