Position Purpose
APA PD Resource Planning works with global planning teams located in the US, South America and Europe to ensure Product Development resource for delivery of the regions product strategies and cycle plan is in place. This role is responsible for managing the headcount portion of the resource plan.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
? Develop systems to track APA PD headcount requirements for all PD pillars for five year planning period.
? Liaise with cycle plan interface team to determine headcount implications of bi-annual cycle plan updates by market.
? Liaise with program resource team to dimension headcount impact of individual programs as they proceed through major milestones, and update headcount plans accordingly.
? Support APA Finance and APA HR with headcount requirements for future year budgets, business plan and workforce plans.
? Prepare headcount analysis for senior APA PD leadership review to support business plan and workforce plan activities.
? Liaise with APA pillar leads and their respective business offices to ensure that non program headcount requirements are understood and captured in budgets and planning documents.
Candidate Specification
Education Qualification Bachelor of Finance, Accounting, Engineering or HR. Masters would be advantageous
No. of Years of Experience Minimum three years of experience in Finance, HR or planning role.
Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills) Finance/accounting skills including spreadsheet development and analysis (advanced Excel a must)
Project Management.
Preferred previous experiences Exposure to workforce planning and/or financial headcount/labour tracking would be advantageous.
Functional Skills Strong analytical skills
Background in either financial analysis and/or HR workforce planning.
Strong understanding of Business Administration and Corporate Finance Processes
Behavioural Skills Drive for results
Team work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Influencing skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
