Job Title Legal Counsel

Reports to SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL

General Purpose of the Job

? Assist senior legal counsel on Amer China legal matters.

? Administration works including internal policy implementation, document archiving

Main Responsibility Areas

?Negotiating, writing and executing agreements and contracts on behalf of the company

?Offering counsel on a variety of legal issue

?Monitoring company IPR status, handling related cases

?Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements

?Handling company license related matters

?Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals

?implementing internal policy

?Working alongside other departments within the company and liaising with outside contacts

Needed Competencies ? Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization

? Solid knowledge on contract law, IPR protection and consumer protection related laws

? Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization's legal department and across all businesses

? Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

? Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

? High work ethic

Education

? At least law degree from a recognized university

Needed Work Experience

? 5+ years’ experience gained in large law firm and/or in-house in recognized company
