Analyzing and finding root cause of failed or returned parts. Execute tests in various laboratory departments on different devices using a complete knowledge of standard references, testing methodologies and requested requirements. Evaluate and document test results for use as supporting knowledge in the development of new products. Guide and train Supplier / Production Development to excellence in quality and sustainable performance.

Improvement quality and reliability
？ Performs analysis of field failures. Prepares root cause analysis reports;
？ Analyzes and evaluates test results and prepares test reports in partnership with designers, engineers, and quality team members.
？ Sets up and executes tests for all types of products according to test plans in cooperation with operators, assistants, or other resources. Defines the details, test sequences, testing methods and procedures, and equipment and instrumentation to be used.
？ Coordinate and follow-up on resolution processes across different functions (internal) and supplier / 3rd party laboratories.
？ Improve test sequence based on RCA and feedback from production and filed
？ Resolves, monitors and closes open cases ensures timely and appropriate resolution and coordinates the resolution with subject matter experts;
？ Provides technical support and solves problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service.
？ Monitoring of factory and field quality on local basis, analysis and implementation of improvement actions,
？ Promotes and supports the deployment of the local Quality and Reliability strategy to increase the quality Defines test plans to investigate and solve critical product issues.
？ Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the ABB organization;
？ Provides technical specialist leadership and coordination for the field Service and production teams.
？ Be ABB representative for quality aspects and a coordinator between ABB team & suppliers.
？ Review and drive for root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive action from the supplier(s) & ABB production
？ Assess component designs, production and testing processes and drive improvements thereof as technical expert in collaboration with suppliers and internal peers

Requirements
？ Higher technical education (Master degree in electrical engineering preferred); Strong electrical engineering knowledge with at least 3 years’ experience preferably in printed circuit boards in R&D;
？ Experience in hardware including electronic components and PCB is required
？ Background in power electronics preferred;
？ Strong analytical skills and systematic working methodology with a high degree of personal initiative
？ Coordinating team player with excellent communication skills in English (oral and written) on all levels, technical and managerial
？ Strong results orientation; excellent solution finder, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues
