Requirements:

· Native speaker of English language with excellent command of Chinese. Simplified/Traditional Chinese native speaker with advance English ability is also considerable

· Professional translator and reviewer with minimum 5 years of experience

• Ability to understand and shape a product’s voice for the target audience
• Strong focus on readability and fluency while remaining accurate and compliant with the source, glossaries, style guides and instructions

· Willingness to research terminology to come up with the best solutions, ability to understand complex instructions or feedback and adhere to them

· Ability to analyze existing client/SME feedback and produce instructions

· Experience with evaluating linguistic quality and advising on corrective actions and improvement plans

· Willingness to work in Memsource

· Sense of ownership, proactive approach (ask questions, point out issues)

Preferred

• Experience in IT translation field, with a mix of technical (especially UI translation) and marketing experience meeting high quality expectations
• Interest in ride-sharing, artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous technology good overview of what is happening in the market (products, features, terminology and language trends)

Main Tasks:

· Building relationship with client and Moravia quality managers in order to fully understand quality expectations and address linguistic issues/questions/concerns

· Translation of content into the target language as necessary

· Review of translations from other linguists.

· Analysis of client feedback and LQA scores, identifying trends and advising on corrective measures

· Participation in virtual/onsite meetings with the client and other linguists, actively contributing to linguistic discussions. (For any American time candidate, please be noticed that the meeting could be held in the night. It takes normally one hour on Thursday)

· Answering linguistic queries from other linguists

· Evaluating and collecting feedback from the client, creating language-specific instructions and best practices for linguists
