General Purpose of this Position
Design local variants based upon global platform products from concept, detail design, prototype delivery and production implement.
To support manufacturing with technical decisions.
To support launches of new products from remote R&D teams into Beijing factory.
To assist global Purchasing department to identify suppliers and key partners in China.
Responsibilities
To support launches of new products developed and WR
To consistently deliver promised goals on budget
Design quality products by following new development process
To consistently deliver promised goals on time
Requirements for this Position
University degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
3yrs minimum in relevant field
Demonstrated proficiency with Pro Engineer or 3D CAD modeling packages.
Demonstrated track record for delivery
3~5 yrs minimum in relevant field
Six sigma experience desired
Desirable experience in designing plastic injection moulded parts
Desirable experience in designing pneumatic fixtures and fitting
Desirable experience in textiles, (harnesses, straps, belts)
Good English speaking and writing
