Digital Campaign Product Architect – Mindshare, Shanghai Overview of job

The digital campaign product architect will perform process analysis and technical specification work to improve the overall efficiency of the Mindshare system for handling digital campaigns. He/She will work with agencies client teams and group functions to understand business requirements/issues, propose and execute solutions thru systems and activities.

Measures of success – In three months, you would have:

  • Understood existing system features and functions and how they work together

  • Extensively mapped the process for running a digital campaign from end to end, starting with ideation and ending with post-campaign review and analysis

  • Provided day-to-day support to end users of systems operations, to gain knowledge of business process

In six months, you would have:

  • Built relationships with the key stakeholders from client teams, functions and technology teams

  • Performed Lean Six Sigma style analysis on the workflows to identify solutions to the most critical bottlenecks

  • Briefed technical staff on multiple process improvement projects

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Become known throughout the organization as the subject matter expert on digital campaign system analysis and improvement

  • Worked with business stakeholders to understand issues/challenges and define system solutions to solve business problems, and enable business development opportunities

  • Have articulated a Mindshare Digital Campaign Product (a combination of service and systems) that can be replicated across multiple client teams

Responsibilities of the role:

Project Management (30% )

  • Follow and execute project definitions with PMO requirements and governance
  • Drive relationship with business stakeholders
  • Engage with the agencies teams, trading and digital business units, as well as delivery teams for project management lifecycles
  • Manage change management, change planning and communication
  • Facilitate testing signoff by users, and transitioning into on-going service for project closure.

Business Analysis (50% )

  • Apply structured methods to carry out investigations, analysis, review and documentation in terms of business functions and processes
  • Define requirements and solutions for media planning and buying systems process, provide opinion and advice to business issues
  • Interpret business needs and views into structured requirements and specifications
  • Create viable acceptance criteria for system implementation

Ad-hoc supporting (20% )

  • Support business users with questions about how to use our system properly
  • React to unexpected issues and co-work with local teammates and regional tech team to address the issue
  • Follow up with tech team and update business users for their queries.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science related, or marketing analysis field
  • 5 years of experience in BI / DW or application project lifecycle implementation
  • Experience with Agile methodology and practice is an advantage
  • Formal training and experience of BA practice (e.g. Lean Six Sigma or similar) is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage upwards, deliver accurate briefs to technical staff, and work with highly demanding stakeholders

  • Experience with digital (mobile, display etc) ads and online video ad campaigns is a plus
