Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
- About the team: Electric Vehicle Data Monitoring Product Team - A lean, agile IT org providing high value, integrated services to support New Energy Vehicle Data Monitoring for Ford/Lincoln vehicle. Working here means you will be part of Ford Global Connected Vehicle IT team, providing key enablers for Ford Mobility Product Service all around the world.
- About the position: Software Engineer will be key members of China Electric Vehicle Data Monitoring product team who actual perform the hands-on work for product develop, testing, implementation, and on-going operation support.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
- To actively developing and refining pro?ducts that deliver business value.
- To use agile techniques to delivery small, incremental changes continuously while working with Product Manager and Product Designer to ensure customer needs are being met.
- Performs exploratory testing to confirm application execution and to identify software deficiencies not covered by automated testing.
- Reviews continuous integration build status and fixes build failures.
- Reviews ongoing production software operations and troubleshoots production issues.
- Implements tooling that monitors application performance metrics and automatically notifies team when a failure occurs in production.
- Active participant in all team agile ceremonies:
- Backlog Refinement/Iteration Planning
- Stand-up
- Iteration Closure
- Iteration Retrospective
- Guides and coaches other software engineers on product teams.
- Organizes team learning events.
- Provides input to product governance communications.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Visual Studio for Web based development
- Have an understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
- Hands on experience, in an enterprise environment, with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API's
- Demonstrate level of competence in object- oriented analysis, design and coding in a .NET server-side environment, specifically utilizing the Microsoft MVC framework.
- Some experience using a major database (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc...)
- 1-3 years of experience with the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, XML)
- 1-3 years of experience with UI technologies (WPF, CSS/JS, etc.)
- Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.
