Position Summary:
Demand generation in the field through techno commercial sales promotion for CP products by meeting consumers in an assigned territory regularly and thereby strengthening the Brand Image amongst the customers. Incumbent is responsible for achieving planned sales objectives for appointed region. This position will work closely with internal business partners and our China dealers to meet overall Cole-Parmer strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
o Meets sales objectives through a combination of dealer and end user management.
o Meeting stockiest/dealers in the market to book orders, outstanding payment collection, by achieving sales & collection budget month after month.
o Explores, motivates, directs, and encourages qualified dealers. Develops a corrective action plan for under- performing dealers. Evaluates and suggests new dealers to the Manager, and Director, Global Commercial Operations when a dealer needs to be replaced.
o Regular feedback to manager on market development, competitor’s activity along with daily and monthly report. Submission of all reports to the Line Manager on time to maintain discipline.
o Supports sales management plans by maintaining effective customer relations and assuring continued market penetration and profitability by making in – depth calls to end Users to achieve sales objectives.
o Exposure in handling Key Accounts.
o Implements customer specific action plans.
o Develops and maintains purchasing and end user relationships.
o Resolves customer service related issues (i.e. pricing and product availability).
o Introduces new products and services to the accounts.
o Develops new customers and performs other tasks as assigned by Manager.
o Strong selling experiences on pharmaceutical and biotech market
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent work experience.
o 2-3 years of academic sales experience
o Familiar with selling Laboratory Equipment Industry
o Good written and spoken English skills required.
o Familiar with pharma and vaccine market on consumables
Working Conditions:
? Ability to travel 80% of time.
? Sits at computer for extended periods of time and uses a keyboard and mouse to interact with computer system.
? Frequently uses phone to converse with business partners.
? Frequent writing and reading in both English and Chinese
