职位描述：
The sourcing leads the end-to-end sourcing critical time path through working together with team members, internal stakeholders and third party providers to plan, coordinate and execute efficient sourcing activities.

To source products ensuring competitive costs of goods whilst optimizing the cost of doing business to deliver the best end-to-end solution for the company.

Meanwhile, work closely with buyer in the product development and approval process to ensure the product meets the buyers requirement, is fit for purpose and mandatory standards. Also complete product & factory audits.

Responsibility:

·Review category strategic business plans

·Document high level product & packing briefs emanating from post seasonal reviews

·Obtain quotes comparing costs from various vendors

·Knowledge of mandatory standards for categories within your portfolio

·Source new suppliers for buyers to review

·Organize buying trips in conjunction with the buyer

·Review & approve all product samples & packaging prior to on forwarding to the buying office with recommendation

·Approve commencement of bulk production

·Assist buyer with price negotiations

·Assist buyer in selecting products

 

Accountabilities:

·Comprehensive knowledge of category strategic business plans

·Gather market research & new products from manufacturers and present finding to buyers

Attend post seasonal reviews

·Visit factories and undertake factory assessment & approval

·Ensure products are registered and orders created in a timely manner

·Ensure quality inspections are undertaken on final production

·Ensure on time delivery of orders

·Develop collaborate business plans with strategic suppliers

·Ensure signed terms & conditions are in place with all suppliers

·Be responsible for product technician
