Purpose
Assisting HR Director in supporting specific HR priorities for a designated BU providing HR service and support, working closely with the HR “business partner” to ensure that the internal customers get the expected value and outcome from the HR projects.
Key Responsibilities:
As Functional HR & Business Partner, to provide the full range of HR activities and operations for the specific BU (working with the head of the business unit, their direct reports and the employee group) – on recruitment, on-boarding, relocation, performance management, salary reviews implementing the full HR range of activities.
Manage key HR processes in alignment with HR policies and practices as well as working closely with Centres of Excellence (CoE) Talent and Rewards.
Be the key HR business partner for the specified SCM/IT teams and implement HR calendars outlining people activities to support key business initiatives as well as the implementation of core HR processes specific activities that support business requirements as well as employee engagement and team spirit.
Partner with business to manage the organization/individual change during the organization transition period
Implement Talent Management and Succession activities to ensure that the business is developing it people fully to meets its current performance requirements as well as long term business plans.
Manage the full talent acquisition (internal and external recruitment activities) specific to the business unit and working closely with the hiring manager.
Implement and execute consistently key HR core processes: salary/bonus rounds, GSMS, benefits programmes ,TLU, PEP, Talent and Succession Management.
Take up ownership for HR SCM/IT projects/initiatives in support of furthering the business and people goals of SCM/IT.
Together with the Rewards Mobility team manage the expatriate group of employees in the business units supported including all services required by this specific employee group.
Build good working relationships with the relevant global, market/LOHR teams needed to support the specified BUs.
Develop a strong network of external experts (search firms, HR expertise, suppliers) to leverage when and where needed HR requirements.
Protect the interest of the Company and employees in accordance with the company’s personnel policies and appropriate national laws and regulation.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Well-organized, a self starter with enthusiasm and initiative
Customer oriented, approachable and strong interpersonal skills, good team player
Good project management skills and ability to influence people
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
MS-Office skills, SAP experience is a plus
can work under pressure
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent
Minimum 8 years solid working experience in HR field with 3-4 years experience as HR business partner
(preferably in an international organization and in a regional capacity)
English and Mandarin fluent (written and oral)
