Job overview:
MEC Analytics division is looking for a data technology manager to support the international brands in the Shanghai office. This individual will be responsible for a client’s data management platform implementation and other data requirements related DMP.
 
Reporting line:
This role reports to the Associate Director of Data Tech Management, who directly reports to Head of Data Analytics, MEC China.

5. Become an expert in the agency for all things DMP related
Measures of success:
In three months, you would have:
· Familiarized yourself with all tools/platforms and critical deliverables
· Produced a POV of the DMP landscape in China
· Start engaging and supporting any DMP related requirements within agency
· Become an active collaborator on the wider analytics, planning, and strategy team by attending team trainings and activities
In six months, you would have:
· You have a good understanding of the data & analytics platform and can fully utilise the platform and data marketplace to help agencies/clients gain efficiencies in meeting their data management needs.
· Become a trusted contributor by your performance analytics colleagues and account team
· Identified and activated on key areas where DMP can be infused into programmatic buying
 
In 12 months, you would have:
· Outstanding audience and DMP usage within and outside of agency
· Gathered success stories from different markets for DMP and educating the agency on best practices
· Continual update on a new tool, technology, or vendor that would improve the quality of advertising on the account, specifically in the data management space
 
Responsibilities:
1. Run requirement and objective workshops with agency and client personnel
2. Support agency teams on product demonstrations (internal and external)
3. Support on DMP deployment for our client and vendor management
4. Acting as a key driver in deep understanding and activate client audience
 
What you will need:
· Education background –
o Degree in a technical field (i.e. computer science, engineering) nice to have
· Experience – at least 3 to 5 years of experience in DMP / DSP space from agency, vendor, or client side, cookie tracking, CRM databases, Chinese digital data space required. Understanding of the digital marketing ecosphere (DSP, DMP, SSP) and BAT AD eco-system
· Familiar with the data capability, services of major data partner/provider or DMP vendor in China, such as Getui, UnionPaySmart, Talking data, AdMaster, Miaozhen.
· Skills –
o Language: English and Mandarin
o Technical: SQL, SSIS, Python script, HTML 5 are nice to have
· Attitude – curious, hardworking, takes initiative, enjoys working with others
