What are we looking for?
Qualification:
-Bachelor's Degree or above in packaging, engineering or similar
-Familiar with packaging industry and certain packaging material
-Good people network within the industry
-Minimum 2 years-experience in supplier management, procurement or supplier relevant position
-Good English level in both oral and written
Job description:
-Analyse and organize the supplier data and performance according to group regulation
-Deal with procurement analyse to bench mark and work out best offer for our customer among supplier pool
-Work with designers to deliver right information to supplier for project development and quotation
-Work with supply chain colleagues to secure the overall delivery performance from supplier to customer
-Solve on-site issue with customer on demand
Requirement
-Good knowledge of industry (especially packaging industry) and relevant material
-Good understanding of supplier management skill (including quality system, compliance system and negotiation skill and so on)
-Persistent driving for results through sound project management, organizational and systematic problem solving skills. Capable to manage complex projects
-Willing to work under high pressure, fast-pace environment with minimal supervision.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills

-    设计全球统一的复合材料包装解决方案，施行严格的全球包装性能管理，规范包装规格、性能、颜色管理、FSC认证等；
-    必要时，在得斯玛尚无工厂的地区寻找、遴选、考核和授权外部包装制造商作为合作伙伴，确保它们的产品符合客户的标准；
-    为项目安排一位全球联络人，负责与客户方联络人商谈在项目涉及地区的所有相关商业条款；
-    管理所有与客户当地工厂和得斯玛供应商之间的日常行政、供应、运营工作（订单、订货、运输、发票等）。



为满足如此复杂的要求，得斯玛在中国新设运营点，作为“地区物流控制塔”统筹公司在华的上述营运活动。

strategist (www.dssmith.com) within the European Electronics and Automotive industry. Our existing European Customers within these industries are used to having DS Smith design and supply industry bespoke high added value multi-material packaging solutions & services.

Facilitated by access to digital information and open trade routes, our customers can procure materials at the lowest price in one location and ship them to a location with low labour rates, as engineers in yet another location make product design decisions and procurement is on the other side of the globe.

Products are no longer designed, produced and sold in a single country/region: It is not unusual to see Design is in the EU, Procurement in China and Production of the same product, hence requiring the same packaging, in Mexico, China & Europe. Meaning that our customers expect DS Smith to adapt and change our game plan to have to optimum set-up to also now support them on global projects as follows:

-    Design a multi-material global packaging solution & ensure global packaging
performance governance: Packaging specifications, performances, colour
management, FSC etc.
-    Find, select, audit and qualify external packaging manufacturing partners in needed geographies, where DS Smith has no manufacturing capabilities, ensuring
compliance to customer’s standards
-    Have one Global central point of contact to negotiate all commercial conditions, with customer’s global counterpart, for the different geographies impacted by project
-    Manage all day to day admin supply operations (call-offs, ordering, shipments,
invoicing…) between local customer plant and DS Smith’s supplier.

As a result of this complex demand DS Smith has created a new operation in China, which acts as the “Regional Control Tower” and umbrella the above mentioned operations in China.
