Accident Research:
？ Check and gather accidents information via Ecall, Internet, BMW dealer and other channels. Summarize the accidents daily which are necessary to analyze.
Result: Minimum 2 cases daily processed to line manager with detailed information.
？ Interview customer /contact dealer. Call Customer/dealer once the case is selected. Customer interview is using a standard questionnaire, then contact dealer to enquire the vehicle status and arrange the date for inspection.
Result: conduct 200 calls and dealer contact per year.
？ Rework on the accident documents after accident on-site inspection, includes edit pictures, draw accident sketch etc. The line manager will do the on-site inspection and forward the collected information to the service provider for further rework.
Result: yearly handle 25 cases documents.
？ Accident Reconstruction: use software PC-Crash to reconstruct the collected accidents. The simulation includes the crash phase, post-crash phase.
Result: Yearly 25 cases correctly reconstructed.
？ Code in SAFER database: code the collected accidents in SAFER database.
Result: Yearly 25 cases completely and correctly coded in SAFER database.
？ Check CIDAS Database (China in-Depth Accident research).
Result: all cases in database are reviewed.
Qualifications:
？ At least two years’ work experience in automotive industry R&D division.
？ Master University Degree in automotive/mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent. Foreign study experience is an advantage.
？ Knowledge about vehicle passive safety and active safety.
？ Software Skills: MS Office, basic database knowledge, simulation software.
？ Technical understanding and fast learner, independent work ability.
？ Excellent English language skill, highly preferred with good German language skill.
？ Valid driver’s license and safe driving skills.
