Introduction:
UPS is looking for a Brand Communications Supervisors who can drive UPS brand awareness through integrated campaigns, proactive media relations, effective lead generation and nurturing programs to drive revenue and support UPS China’s business priorities.
Job Duties:
Brand Communications
? Collaborate with internal stakeholders and functions to develop communications plans/strategies in support of UPS China business priorities
? Research relevant industry trends (e.g., through networking, benchmarking, industry publications) to identify new methods for message delivery
? Identify new opportunities to reach key audiences, including use of social media and emerging technology
? Work with PR, Ad and other agencies to anticipate, analyze, and interpret public opinion, attitudes and issues which might impact the organization
? Work with stakeholders to determine appropriate media mix to communicate key messages.
? Manage and execute events to maximize brand exposure and recognition, and for customer engagement
? Craft content (including press releases, bylined articles, op-ed piece) to drive thought leadership
? Support and brief senior management and company spokespeople for media engagements and events
? Manage a communications budget and deliver on planned initiatives
Job Requirements
? Degree in Public Relations / Communications / Marketing
? Minimum 5 years of Communications and Marketing experience, developed either in-house or in an agency environment, with emphasis on B2B communications
? Strong verbal and writing skills in English and Chinese
? Agency management experience
? Experience in managing events
? Crisis management experience is imperative
? Excellent project management skills
? Experience in managing a team, and working across geographies
Personal Qualities
? Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
? Candidate is a self-starter and innovator who thrives in a fast-paced environment while also working independently with minimal supervision
? Candidate must be responsive and quick to action and able to handle issues.
? Able to work with senior level management and stakeholders across multiple-levels, and be a team player who can pull together cross-functional groups to work towards accomplishing projects.
? Polished and professional, with a high degree of integrity and sense of confidentiality.
? Must exercise good judgment and be flexible and adaptable to change.
