Overview of job
MEC Analytics division is looking for an analytics leader with business acumen to support the team in the area of digital data, analytics strategy and operations. This individual will help consult, manage, and execute day to day campaign reporting, communicate and cooperate with other teams and support for pitches – all with the purpose of using data informed decision making to improve the performance of advertising.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Head of Data Analytics, who directly reports to the CEO

2. You will lead and maintain key clients from an analytics perspective
3. You will have the opportunity to get involved in developing anything related to analytics in advertising industry including but not limited to: digital reporting, research, DMP & Programmatic buying, statistic modelling & AI, etc.
4. You will be involved in not only analytics projects in China mainland, but also Hong Kong and Taiwan as well
Measures of success –
In three months, you would have:
? Become an active collaborator on the wider analytics and strategy team by attending team trainings and activities
? Fully familiarized with all of the data sources available to MEC
? Contributed to new business and pitches
? Communicated smoothly with other planning teams to make sure analytics service are met with client’s expectation.
In six months, you would have:
? Built relationship with client and planning team and deliver analytics solutions with high quality delivery
? Contributed to a training session
? Contribute to product development and growth direction
In 12 months, you would have:
? Evaluated the best analytics / digital opportunities within existing agency client set
? Delivered a number of internal ad hoc advanced analytics projects which improved client/agency relationships
? Grown your own knowledge in the area of data and analytics as well as that of the agency
Responsibilities of the role:
1. Manage the analytics scope for several major key clients
2. Develop performance measurement methodologies and deploy across client set
3. Consulting of clients in the area of digital data, DMP, analytics, modelling, and dashboard
4. Conception work and support of business intelligence solutions including drafting and implementation of databases or data modelling
5. Become a business collaborator with clients and teams to tackle problems with business constraints in mind
6. Adoption and localization of regional and/or global tools
7. Manage and mentor analysts
8. Help with Ad hoc analytics requests to improve client satisfaction around the agency

What you will need:
? Education – a degree in business informatics or related
? Experience – 5+ years’ experience in database, web or digital marketing analytics, preferably with experience in programmatic buying, DMP, ecommerce, and or paid search
? Prefer experience in econometric modelling projects
? Excellent presenter and experience in business pitches
? High affinity for numbers and excellent knowledge of technology of the digital advertising market
? Good knowledge in the area of database setup & queries
? Business sense – understand business constraints will recommending analytics solutions
? Skills – Excellent knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and SQL/Access, knowledge of dashboard tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) a plus, knowledge of data science skills a plus (R, Python, machine learning, artificial intelligence)
? Communication – good communication skills and comfortable to present
? Language – Fluent in Chinese and working proficiency in English
