Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The mission of the inbound TEMP is to support inbound coordinators to ensure the smooth operation within SCM Dept. in all aspects of related functions.
He/she will achieve this mission by:
? Contacting agent/broker, shipping forwarder and transportation company for cargo receiving and delivering
? Be the coordinator among other function departments and 3PLs
? Daily tracking and recording for open orders
? Uploading master data or tracking information to system
Key Responsibilities:
Planning
? Coordinate with order placement team to get the inbound purchase order list with detailed product information, based on the launch schedule to arrange the orders ex-factory timely.
? Coordinate with freight forwarder/broker for import & domestic inbound delivery.
? Coordinate with marketing, retail, 3PL/ DC warehouses for goods inbound/outbound and delivery.
Management
? Perform the daily tracking for inbound delivery and ensure the imported orders arrival with committed lead-time and in good conditions.
? Documentation for import declaration and preferential duty saving.
? Monitor the performance of 3PL (freight forwarder, Customs brokers, transportation company) with committed service level.
? Deal with the open claims with 3PL/PO team for those broken/shortage cases of inbound delivery ensure all claims settled properly.
Financial
? Validate 3PL/ carrier/ Broker invoices based on agreed freight rate in conjunction with financial Dept.
? Follow the claim issues till it is get fully resolved.
? Collect Duty and VAT sheet to finance for VAT refund.
? Collect Declaration form.
? Prepare related docs and data to finance for Forex payment monthly.
System and Processes
? Be familiar with company policies and business operations.
? Be able to resolve problems requiring knowledge of department policies and procedures.
? Ensures correct tracking and freight information are recorded timely.
? Operation in HUB systems.
