About This Job:

This person will report to Business Manager. The accountabilities are as follows
Customer orientation
? Timely and accurately manages customers’ orders.
? Contacts customers and/or the account manager to solve issues.
? Contributes to account plan preparation, if applicable, and ensure service level and activities in customer service are aligned with account plan and delivered accordingly.
? Maintains close communication with the account manager.
Performance
? Monitors and resolves unconfirmed order lines in connection with supply operations and sales reps. Manages shortages to the best interest of customer.
? Responds promptly to any customer’s inquiries.
? Prepare reports and communication in relation with other departments (i.e. logistic information, batch details …)
? Monitors customer satisfaction level.
? Manages continuous improvement initiatives as required to meet yearly goals and objectives.
? Follows Syngenta code of conduct, and complies with internal rules and policies.
? Will perform activities that are identified as needed by management that are not part of the scope of the standard role profile
Tasks
? Contacts Chinese customers and Customer Service team in ENK (Enkhuizen) to collect, process and deliver orders timely and accurately. Manages unconfirmed order lines and shortages making best use of availability in the frame of the substitution and allocation execution rules
? Deals directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face and respond promptly to inquiries
? Communicates order changes to customers and sales team
? Manages sample requests.
? Supports pricing process
? Contacts vendors and handle PO workflow with Easy Procure system
? Translate technical guides/reports into Chinese and share them with customers
? Works with technical services and prepares promotion materials and advertisements
? Connects customers to internal experts and other departments when needed
? Contributes to the development and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures regarding customer service

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

Critical knowledge
? Bachelor degree in horticulture or other relevant field
? Fluency in English
? Understanding of customer service processes
? Microsoft office (excellent Excel skills, Word, Powerpoint)
? Basic green knowledge to be acquired
Critical experience
? At least 1 year relevant experience in customer service, Or Working with team of individuals in customer oriented environment
? Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
? Interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills
? Problem solving
? Ability to multi-task
? Ability to sell
? Positive mindset, team player, and able to share work load with co-workers

Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree
? Fluent English both verbal and written
? Customer focused and proactive with communication to customers
? Ability to quickly gain knowledge processing customer orders.
? Effectively and quickly gain knowledge of products and customers.
? Be a team player across different departments
