Develop, apply and implement data-driven methods and procedures for process analysis, process optimization and reliability management and standardize these methods for the Hella Group, in order to achieve an increase in efficiency and a reduction in reject and rework costs.

1. Group-wide know-how ambassador

and contact person for the statistical special topics of exploratory data analysis, statistical testing methodology and reliability management, in order to increase process transparency and to support the improvement process.

2. Management and coaching of interdisciplinary teams

to implement pilot projects coordinated with the product division and/or product line management (domestic and foreign) for process analysis and process optimization with the goal of minimizing costs of mistakes, increasing process efficiency and thus raising customer satisfaction (internal and external).

3. Develop, standardize and implement data-driven methods for process analysis and process optimization

in order to increase process transparency and establish systematic process knowledge (process models); determine the qualitative and quantitative relationships between process/operational data and product characteristics; take into account economic aspects.

4. Establish and maintain international networks

as a tool for the international roll-out of the use of systematic procedures for process analysis and process optimization

5. Development and adaptation of international standards

in the field of optimization methods and quality tools.

6. Process benchmarking

in order to enable a technical and economic comparison of processes and to derive corresponding best practice criteria.

7. Initiate and coordinate international projects for grouping, documentation and publication (e.g. guidelines, checklists, intranet, etc.) of process and methodological knowledge

involving universities/institutes with the aim of bringing the level of information in the group with respect to process and methodological knowledge to a consistently high level, thus increasing the company's competitiveness.
