Position purpose
Gilead Sciences China started building the distribution team to meet new product launch and developing the distribution management including the product importation, distribution selecting and support market access successfully. This position is responsible for internal communication and across cooperation to coordinate the market demand, handling the regional distribution management, developing the distribution operating system with related functions, leveraging the distribution channel effectiveness in leading strategic initiatives supporting the development and growth of company business in China.


Major tasks and responsibilities of the position
Support National Distribution Director in managing key operations of company brand and involve in making critical decisions in distribution management. Have the responsibilities to follow up the distribution key processes, keep the management updated of all activities in the distribution channel. Under department head supervision, the incumbent shall:

?Build the communication work flow internally and externally to achieve the business performance in China;
?Participant in a process which will continuously benchmark the quality of distribution selection and management process in China;
?Manage the development of key metrics and reporting systems, and facilitate the distribution data collecting, reviews and performance analysis;
?Involved in cross functional topics in order to ensure strategic and operational issues are effectively addressed including managing and monitoring the performance of contractual obligations set in the distribution agreement;
?Provides strategic insights by identifying critical government industry policy, participant in developing scenarios, assessing market opportunities and providing best practices. Push the distribution partners to improve the quality of distribution data system, hospital bidding process and the business analysis frequently;
?Coordinate product ordering from importer and sub-distributors’ operate relevant system to ensure the product supply in the market;
?Manage external stakeholders such as the business 3rd party and the venders;
?Collaborate with relevant department as cross-functional communication, such as Sales, Marketing, Demand forecast, Supply, Finance and IT Business function to improve the work effectiveness;
?Achieve the company compliance target and no compliance issue;
?Demonstrate judgment and integrity in accordance with the highest ethical and compliance standards, including Gilead’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct policies, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Chinese laws;
?Responsible for overseeing and managing direct reports and third party service providers to ensure compliance with Gilead’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct policies, including adherence to requirements of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Chinese law.


Qualifications
?Have knowledge the distribution management of Pharmaceutical industry;
?Experienced in distribution, sales or marketing, commercial operations management consulting or business development;
?Understand of strategic planning and business development, ability to prioritize strategic and operational imperatives, strong communication and influencing skills;
?Able to work with colleagues at all levels of the organization, have capability of process management;
?Have written, verbal skills, and presentation skills in both Chinese and English;
?Bachelor’s degree or above;
?6+ years of relevant Pharmaceutical industry experience and a BA/BS degree.
