职位描述：
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Able to work in a fast paced, results-oriented team environment to assist in supporting current and new technologies related to the rubber additives industries.

1. Develop / support new or established analytical capabilities in support of commercial / new products (Crystex, Impera, Santoflex) and processes that may include:
? Simultaneously operate a variety of analytical instruments to test rubber additives and / or formulated rubber properties
? Material testing: including thermal stability, composition and various mechanical properties.
? Use industry standardized testing methodologies, including associated software and hardware, to execute the test methods as prescribed.
? Develop new laboratory procedures.
? Report data via SharePoint, and other electronic forms.
? Evaluation of experimental materials and measurement techniques.
? Formulation scale-up evaluations.
? Assist customers with process optimization and new applications.

2. Conduct rubber compounding and other technical experiments / projects.
3. Develop hands-on and in-depth technical expertise in rubber testing.
4. Work with internal customers in answering technical questions.
5. Ability to document experimental work, including writing standard test methods and technical reports.
6. Working safely and promoting a safe work environment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT(INCLUDING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)

Education-Bachelor Degree in Science (Chemistry)

Experience/Job Knowledge/Expertise –minimum 5 years’ related lab experience. Candidates with rubber processing and testing background will be a plus.

Judgment – Good planning to ensure that chemicals, consumables & lab equipment are available when required. Notify peers and supervisor whenever safety-related laboratory issues are observed.

Initiative – Must be self-motivated, looking for ways to improve laboratory work processes, testing accuracy and safety.

Technical Skills - Good knowledge in analytical chemistry.


Computer Skills – Able to use Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Language Skills – English and Chinese

Communication Skills – Must be able to communicate experimental results clearly to peers & supervision through email, verbal communication and/or concise report. Require to update research notebook clearly and promptly.

Teamwork – Must be able to work with people having different personalities and different job functions.
