DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead all program related topics of chassis Engineering from concept phase to start of production
2. Build, develop and lead a strong engineering team to deliver high quality output on all chassis related topics
3. Support all program development milestones with timely and high quality input for all chassis deliverables
4. Ensure chassis concept parameters being included in vehicle concept development phase
5. Lead all Vehicle Dynamics and Active Safety activities from benchmark and target setting through development, tuning and attribute delivery at engineering sign-off
6. Build strong relationship to other Attribute Teams (NVH, Durability, …) to support complete vehicle attribute delivery
7. Support the development and execution of a robust quality driven product development process
8. Create and deploy engineering standards to define and validate all chassis related requirements
9. Plan and manage chassis department program and operational budget
Requirement:
？ B.S. in automotive, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent. M.S. is preferred.
？ Minimum 10 years of chassis development (architectural design, integration, system and components)
？ Minimum 5 years of hands-on calibration experience with track of record delivering relevant systems or key projects
？ Familiar with state of art of technologies in all chassis subsystems
？ Deep knowledge in system requirements and validation methodologies
？ Experience with regenerative braking systems and application in electrification is a plus
？ Excellent vision on future automotive technologies
？ Experience using automotive development quality tools (APQP, FMEA, 8D, PPAP)
？ Familiar with world-class product development process
？ Familiar with regulatory requirements and industrial standards, especially for Chinese market
？ Familiar with cost control and advanced chassis material
？ Proven record of strong leadership, program management and coordination capabilities
