Prime objectives of the job:
Control of commercial activities (management of distribution and marketing) in Consumer Goods, Food Service and B2B for AGC in Greater China and export.
Reporting to AGC Financial Controller, the Market Controller will work closely with the APAC Sales VP and APAC Marketing Director and will provide financial tactical and strategic support to the senior management of the company on market related matters
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Ensure a timely, reliable financial statement/ support (inc. report, forecast, budget) to the Market operations.
2) Draw analysis on Product portfolio profitability and customer (Brand, Channel, Profit Centres, Customers, Country, Entity)
3) Control, budget, forecast and report selling and marketing expenses.
4) In charge of budgeting and planning AGC’s market related activities.
5) In charge ofprocess optimization and risk management (credit control, annual contracts, bidding process).
6) Involved in the Price Validation process for products/studies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years’ experience on similar position (preferably in MNC or foreign JV)
- 6-7 years experience, including audit
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting
- Computer Literacy on MS Office with proficiency on MS excel & MS PowerPoint
- Professional English level (oral and writing)
- Attention to details, accuracy & record keeping skills
- Ability to efficiently prioritize, meeting deadlines and problem solving skills
- Analytical Thinking with Problem solving skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Numerical Reasoning
