JOB DESCRIPTION
? Bansard International is hiring for the position of Operation Control Tower to join our Regional office in Shanghai;
? On this position you will play a key role in our organization, acting as the main contact/source for transport planning, communication and information flow between shippers, customer service teams in China and overseas Key Account Managers;
? You will also maintain the relationship with local shippers in order to ensure the end to end customers satisfaction and grow our prepaid business SEA & AIR;
? Finally, you will train and your team and shippers on the latest freight forwarding digital tools that the company is developing.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Act as a single point of contact for all transportation operations in scope;
? Manage and coordinate first level escalations with the customer and/or internally;
? Support improvement and implementation of new processes;
? Develop and maintain local shipper's relationship and acquire new prepaid business;
? Participate in the elaboration of SOPs and train the customer service teams;
? Take appropriate corrective action and/or notify relevant person and office to prevent a re-occurrence of customer complaint;
? Ensure that all local required processes are completed within deadlines;
? Monitor the operational performance and oversee the performance of the involved teams. Guide business operations in the matter of customer expectations, internal guidelines and KPI.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
? Minimum 7-8 years of logistics in a customer service managing position, within an International Freight Forwarding/Transportation industry;
? Proficiency in WiseCloud (Cargowise) Transport Management System;
? Ability to converse in English fluently;
? Ability to work autonomously;
? An interest in how technology can drive change within the industry.
