JOB TITLE: Project Manager
SCOPE OF THE JOB:
? Lead programs within China business, achieve program objectives, fulfill deliverables and bring programs to successful conclusions with all targets met (timing, quality, budget etc.)
? Run programs in accordance with the relevant program management guidelines
? Manage an inter-disciplinary team and handle programs in pre-development, quotation, development and change management (after start of production) phases

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managerial Responsibilities / Authorities:
? To decide the setting of projects meetings as well as stakes reviews.
? To take technical decisions in the meeting with the customer and to negotiate the deadlines with the customer.
? To accept or refuse the sending of any part intended to the customer.
? To lead and steer an across-functional team
? To define team members' objectives and assignments
During the Product Development phases:
? To initiate timing plan and other files required by CBU during quotation phase
? To define necessary resources / organization to meet the targets.
? To define detailed planning and ensure that activities are carried out in due time.
? To define detailed development cost.
? To coordinate internal and customer project reviews / activities.
? To be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the profitability at the initial target settings
? To be responsible for the tooling, investment and development expenses according to the approved program budget.
? To ensure the fulfillment of all the customer specifications in terms of milestones, quality, logistic, packaging, environment etc.
? To perform risk analysis assessment and suggest action plan for solving or escalation.
? To update approved programs follow-up reporting document
? To ensure smooth program transfer from engineering development to production plant
? To finish other tasks assigned by Head of PM & APQP
? To ensure the Continuous Improvement Management System within Program Management
? To ensure the Program Management meets the requirements of TS 16949 and ISO 14001

MAIN QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor degree or above majored in engineering or program management
? At least 5 year experience in the same function to have developed the required knowledge & skills with the automotive industry. Working in a matrix organization with a multi-national company would be advantageous.
? Have practical knowledge of project management tools, e.g. program planning; resource planning; quality planning; target setting etc.
? Profound knowledge of PC applications, especially Lotus Notes, MS-Powerpoint and MS-Project
? Command of English is a must, German would be advantageous
? Good leadership and communication skills at all levels
? Quick learning ability, team spirit, negotiating, target-oriented in timely
? Willing to travel frequently to the customers and plants
