职位描述
Job Output:
¨ Be responsible for implementing the environmental, health and safety (EHS), policies and procedures of the plant, the corporation and the government. Assist in establishing the EHS management system and the Armstrong Advanced Flooring Company (AAFC) Safety System. Ensure all operations, maintenance, administration and other related services and activities are performed in a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly manner so that all employees are injury free and have a level degree of consciousness about safety and environmental issues. Coordinate control of hazards to ensure hazard minimization and regulatory compliance. Effectively support of all safety, health and environmental initiatives to drive results and a culture of zero accidents. Support EHS Manager to ensure compliant EHS management and implement assigned tasks.
Key Process (Ownership/Participation):
¨ Learn, understand and implement the prescribed EHS policies, procedures and standards of AAFC. Including the AAFC Safety System, corporate EHS policies, AAFC policies and local and national regulations.
¨ Maintain all documentation and files related to policies, regulatory compliance records, training and licensing, SOP's, and other miscellaneous records and systems.
¨ Communicate regularly with plant employees for purposes of awareness, training and auditing
¨ Advice on the plant of new and revised governmental regulations related to EHS; advise the management team of impact of changes and suggests improvements.
¨ Advise on hazards and risks and their control. Implement proactive plans for preparedness.
¨ Interact with inspectors during audits and follow up to ensure compliance with requirements; act as contact person with other plants and corporate SHE resources
¨ Initiate investigate accident and incident when happen, find the root cause and recommend corrective action.
¨ Monitor the services of third party maintenance contractors
¨ Work permit management, e.g. hot work, work at height, confined space entrance etc.
¨ Responsible for solid waste treatment, include hazardous waste; special equipments management, e.g. forklift, pressure vessel etc; medical exam management. Ensure comply with legal requirement
¨ Initiate fire fighting system and equipments management (sprinkler system, fire alarm system, fire hydrant, fire extinguisher, emergency lights etc).
¨ Provide EHS training, e.g. orientation EHS training, PPE training, chemical safety training, contractors safety training. Etc.
¨ Chemicals management, prepare for and update MSDS, chemical safety label.
¨ Tours plant to make EHS inspection, to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure compliance with pertinent safety rule and regulations.
¨ PPE selection and management.
¨ Support other departments as requested

¨ Reports to the EHS Manager.
¨ Team member of Safety Leadership Committee, safety subcommittee and Plant Staff.

¨ Sourcing the updated EHS info, communicate and deliver training
¨ Physically improve current EHS practice in terms of policy/ facility/ procedure etc.
Education & Work Experience:
¨ University degree of engineering related area
¨ Minimum 5~7 years of related working experience in a manufacturing environment, special for new plant EHS system set up
¨ Good communication and team work skill
¨ Fluent English in reading and writing
¨ Good computer skill (Microsoft Office & network user)
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
¨ Professional Knowledge - will need to be knowledgeable of the EHS rules, familiar with all the national rules regarding EHS for either plant or employee. Strong sense on safety rules and good at coaching and implementing.
¨ Safety engineer qualification.
¨ Good interpersonal & communication skills - must be able to work well with various level of employees related to EHS issues.
¨ Process orientation - strong implementation skills within prescribed timeframe
¨ Computer skill -Good at computer usage and runs reports as necessary for management
¨ English skill - good at writing and speaking.
¨ Experience of related trainer is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
¨ Maybe necessary to work at dusty and noisy environment for a long period.
¨ Mainly work in daylight office background, routine shop-floor inspection is expected.
¨ Keep close contact with local government department, very few national business trips is required.
