Job Output:
? Lead the project development and execution of a new metal ceilings manufacturing facility in Shanghai for Armstrong. Additional responsibilities could be added in future based on mutual interest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Finalize the project plan and capital documentation
? Finalize detailed equipment configuration, sources and associated acquisition, installation and start-up costs (preliminary list defined)
? Establish layout and facility requirements, including required infrastructure, utilities and employee and office spaces.
? Perform site selection and secure site (likely to be a leased facility). Create detailed estimate of any upgrades required to meet facility requirements
? Identify team requirements (internal and external) to execute the project
? Incorporate all of above into a detailed project plan and capital request
? Create document package to obtain approval for new capital investment
? Execute the plant build
? Build the execution team (internal and external)
? Establish contracts with all required suppliers, aggressively manage suppliers
? Maintain detailed cost and schedule tracking mechanisms, provide regular updates to management on overall progress and risks
? Work with start-up team to start-up plant
? Possible additional responsibilities in future (based on mutual interest)
? Possibility to become project manager for another Armstrong plant build
? Possibility to become global engineering/equipment manager

Requirements
? Major (>$10M) capital and construction project management experience
? Experience and knowledge of sheet metal fabrication equipment strongly desired
? Supplier management experience
? Manufacturing operations and/or direct plant management experience a plus
? Comfort with Mandarin and English
