Position Summary
– This position is focused on Diesel Pump application engineering and product support.
– Report to Engineering Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze customer’s requirement of fuel injection equipment and provide proper solutions.
- Support customer’s development activity to meet performance, emission, drivability goals.
- Design and perform tests on test stand, engine and vehicle to gather data as required.
- Analyze problems and statistics by applying technical knowledge and the appropriate scientific method.
- Complete Root Cause Analysis and problem solving (e.g. 8-D).
- Support manufacturing, production and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate engineering efforts across engineering disciplines and lead design reviews
- Write technical reports and presentations to communicate data, test results and project status for internal and external purposes.

Education and/or Experience:
- 3+ years working experience
- BS in Engineering from a certified educational institution
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Good English oral and writing skills.
- Experience in the field of design/development of Diesel Rotary or Common Rail Pumps
-Knowledge of electronic engine control systems and demonstrated proficiency in the use of controller development tools and calibration techniques.
- Proficiency in the use of engine test lab equipment, data acquisition, and data analysis tool.
- Knowledge of CAD design tools.
- Experience with Automotive Quality tools, such as FMEA, DVP&R process, PPAP process.
- Experience with manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Project & MS PowerPoint.
