1.Job responsibility:

(List the duties in a logical order along with the percentage of time spent on that duty. Identify essential functions in the job to meet legal requirement)

·Designs and drives effective long term test strategy that supports multiple product versions and customer projects, including:
a) Functional / business scenarios focused testing (manual and automated)
b) Non-functional testing such as performance, security, deployment / configuration

·Designs of test automation framework / harness and any in-house tools required

·Analyzes current processes, Testing practices and suggest / drive continuous improvements (defines new processes as needed)

·Integrates ideas and inputs from different sources into innovative solutions for the organization

·Involves in customer engagements and provides customer facing organizations with necessary technical product support in making presentations, demos, etc.

·Reviews requirements, participates in product design reviews and works with the development architect and development team to make any design improvements and refinement as needed especially on incorporating testability requirements into design

2. Job requirement

Knowledge: (acquired information necessary to do the job)

·Domain Knowledge in multiple industries is required.

·Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing)

Skills: (acquired measurable behaviors)

·12+ years of overall experience in software development/ automated testing

·Extensive Technical skills covering Product, Technologies and Competitive knowledge

·Experience in driving testing delivery in large scale product or customer focused project

·Experience in industry wide product development processes (RUP, Agile / Scrum in particular)

·Strong knowledge of Open-source or proprietary testing automation frameworks and tools such as Mercury Tools (QTP, Test Runner, Load Runner), Selenium, FoneMonkey etc, with proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions

·Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl, Python, JavaScript, Windows and UNIX shell scripting

·Experience in SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, etc

·Knowledge of both Windows and UNIX platform

·Good understanding of web and mobile technologies. Such as HTML, CSS, XML, HTTP, iOS, Android SDK etc

·Proven ability to work with different team (PM, Dev, Test) and more importantly influence across team

·Good team player & communication skills.

·Good Presentation skill

·Customer orientation.

·Foreigner or oversea background is preferred

Education background:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, related technical field
