Job title: International graduate programme – Mechanical Engineer
responsibilities:
A Group programme for recent graduates.
Starting in January 2013 the programme lasts for approximately one year and consists of various training sessions covering fundamental Group concepts, such as diversity, personal development,project management, presentation techniques, The Way etc. The programme is aimed at reaching a profound understanding of the Group and its culture via hands-on training sessions,different learning activities at the home department and a short term assignment abroad. After the programme is completed, the participants will continue to work in the position applied for in the Group.
Position
The major areas covered are to develop and manage manufacturing process & work standards and tools, to prepare and implement pilot production for new products, to manage manufacturing standards(M-BOM, Work standards, Standard time, Routing)
1. Preparation and pilot production of new products
- Process design
- Tooling and production equipment
- Layout design and set-up
- Work instruction ( Assembly instruction sheet )
- Standard time Set-up
- Pilot production try-out
- Lean manufacturing
2. Investment planning and implementation
3. Management of M-BOM, Routing and Standard time
4. Shop floor improvement planning and implementation
- Productivity /Quality / Lead time / Safety & environmental care
5. ECN management
6. Jig & Fixture Manufacturing & maintenance
7. Product technical understanding
8. Developing work standards
Overall requirements:
Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
Excellent spoken and written English (Additional languages are given merit especially
Mandarin)
Maximum of two years previous work-experience after graduation
Education and possible specialization:
1st choice: Mechanical and electrical integration
2nd choice: Industrial Engineering
