Purpose / Mission
- Managing non-trade purchasing category to reach team goals and objectives, being a valuable business partner for internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Accountabilities
Planning
- Develop sourcing strategy to leverage the purchasing of Logistics, IFM, Consultant, Labor and Professional Service
- Set goals and develop action plans of category sourcing
- Continuously improve purchasing process and performance
- Support budget holders in forecasting and budgeting of costs
- Implement Corporate purchasing strategies of specific category into local market
Management
- Enforce policies and processes applying to non-trade purchase
- Spending analysis for sourcing opportunities developing to optimize spending
- Manager internal purchasing demands and provide valuable support to stakeholders
- Manage supplier base in the field of above mentioned category(ies)
- Source and screen new suppliers, regular review long term suppliers’ performance
- Lead bidding process and supplier evaluation process as other sourcing technics as well
- Support contract review if necessary, initiate long term contract in any needs
- Due diligence on price market benchmark
- Provide professional assistance to German Corporate Procurement team in supporting global projects
Financial
- Analyze commodity, supplier spending to identify saving opportunities without any compromise of quality and service
- Develop the sourcing strategies to leverage purchasing volume to generate more hard savings
- Ensure transparency and openness in vendor pitching process, selection and evaluation
- Achieving year-on-year improvement in total cost of ownership in relative categories for which accountable
- Good understanding of adidas Financial policies like FA, AP, internal control while implementing purchasing practices
Systems and Processes
- Regular review and strengthen existing non-trade process and policies
- Develop systematic process for vendor lifecycle management
- Identify new tools or best practices on vendor selection and price negotiation
