ESG is German company famous for providing engineering services and innovative solutions to government and automotive customers. ESG focuses in 2 business areas: military defense system and automotive electric/electrics system. ESG China works in automotive area providing EE and IT engineering solutions to automotive OEMs. Key customers include BMW, Ford, SGM, FCA, Geely, Porsche, Audi etc., as well as some tier 1 suppliers. BMW is our biggest customer. We are now almost the biggest engineering partner for BMW in automotive E/E and Connected Car areas.

Responsibilities:
This role will report to ESG China Automotive Director.
The scope of this position is
1. All sales and BD activities for Automotive OEM and Tier 1 customers which include but not limited to the following tasks:
a. Network through industry groups and events (SAE, Universities, Conference and Forums…)
b. Identify new business opportunities and input the new opportunities into our company Business Pipeline system
c. Work with engineering team to pursue and secure new opportunities
d. Work with team to lead the preparation of bidding documents, proposals and quotations
e. Visit customers regularly and maintain a good relationship with customers’ business and purchasing departments
f. Support engineering team on project execution and keep a high level of customers’ satisfactions
g. Organize and host customer meetings to promote ESG offerings

2. Support Automotive Director on engineering team staffing and coordination
3. Support project management team in project execution
4. Support the development of ESG solutions, products and services and promote the ESG offerings to potential customers and public
5. Regular communication with ESG global team to

Desired Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidates should have the following qualifications:
o 3+ years sales and/or business development experience
o Strong network with some automotive OEM engineering departments, especially EE or E-mobility teams
o Must have automotive background with proven knowledge or working experience in either of the following areas:
- Automotive E/E;
- Connected Car and/or telematics solutions
- Functional development, test and Integration in ADAS, Functional safety, diagnostic
- E-mobility, EV or PHEV Engineering
o Understand automotive E/E design, development, test and integration processes from component level to system level
o Must be capable to communicate efficiently with OEM engineering managers/specialists with US/German cultural background
o Better to have knowledge in development/change/configuration/test management (tools and process) and project management processes
o Working experience in automotive OEM or component supplier is a plus
o Strong communication skills, must have excellent English and Mandarin language skills
o Very good inter-personal communication and presentation and skill
o Can work under pressure and continuously deliver results as requested
o Familiar with MS-Office software (Word, Windows, Excel, PPT and Outlook)
o Good team worker and good self-motivator

Desired Education Background:
o Bachelor degree or above in electronics & electric, vehicle engineering, computer science, software engineering…
